Au Revoir, Glee =(

Parting is such sweet sorrow.

This post has been sitting on the backburner for a while, as all the other topics grabbed my muse and ran with it. However, I've always intended to say my temporary farewell to Glee in a proper manner, and here it is:

Thank you, Glee, for brightening my weeks with your drama, hotties, and awesomely good music. You have within you characters that are complex, interesting and pretty darn good-looking to boot; and when combined with songs that inspired me to download all three albums (and the Madonna tribute album as well), it is as clear as day that you are numero uno in my heart. I love how Mr Schue is not just some pretty-boy do-gooder, but a man with conflicts and eff-ups, and I love how Sue Sylvester is not just a villain, but a human with different facets to her that make her human even as she is a schemer with a deep hatred of Mr Schue (and a desperate covetousness towards his hair). I also love how you handle topics like homosexuality and teen pregnancies - with sensitivity and nary a pointed finger in sight. I LOVE YOU, GLEE. Until we meet again!
